Spiral Diner’s Fort Worth FAQ says a separate gluten-free menu is available in-store. The same page identifies the restaurant at 1314 W. Magnolia Avenue. Start there when asking for the current version. Read Spiral’s official FAQ and location details.
Sources checked September 13, 2026. These are published restaurant statements, not an inspection or a confirmed order. Preparation procedures for an individual diner remain to be discussed with the restaurant.
Check more than the GF label
Two examples on the official menu show why combined restrictions need a closer look: the nacho cheese is described as cashew-based, and the Texas Red Chili description includes soy protein. Both appear with GF labels. Those labels do not resolve a cashew or soy restriction.
These examples are reasons to read the ingredient descriptions, not suggestions to order those dishes. A restaurant offering options for two separate dietary needs has not necessarily established one meal that meets both.
Ask about the complete combination
“I need a meal that meets all of these restrictions: [your list]. Can we check one complete order, including its sauce, side, and any substitute? Please tell me if there’s a component you cannot verify.”
- Name the specific nut or other allergen you avoid. A broad “nuts” label may need a more precise explanation.
- For a replacement ingredient, ask to check its current recipe or package information too.
- Ask which preparation surfaces, utensils, and serving tools the order will use.
- Confirm the agreed combination when ordering; do not rely on a dietary label to communicate every restriction.
FARE’s dining-out guidance recommends discussing both ingredients and preparation with restaurant staff. Our question sequence applies that approach to a combined order; Spiral has not confirmed these requests or procedures for this article.
Keep unknowns visible
A useful planning note names the exact dish and restrictions, links the menu, and records any unanswered question. If staff confirm a change, write down what was said and when. Do not turn “we have a gluten-free menu” into a restaurant-wide statement about all allergens or every preparation process.
