Gluten · Accommodates. El Chico publishes a dedicated Gluten Sensitive Menu (PDF at elchico.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Gluten-Sensitive-ELC.pdf) and a 'Gluten Sensitive' web menu tab. Individual items on the main menu are labeled 'gluten-free version available' (e.g. Fajita Nachos, Chili con Queso, Sizzling Chicken Salad, Chicken Fajita Salad). The menu states both chicken and beef taco meat are NOT gluten-sensitive, and enchilada sauces other than chipotle wine sauce are not OK. No dedicated facility or separate prep area is claimed.
